Additional Revision to NEW
CE Review Date!
Please note the new amendment to the Insurance Code pertaining to CE review dates: A licensee will now receive a review date no less than 12 months from his or her current review date. This means the first review date may be less than 24 months, requiring the licensee to earn additional CE credits in order to remain compliant. Active licensees will be contacted and provided with their new CE review date. Click here for more information. |

Westran Memorial Golf Outing
The Westran Insurance Scholarship Foundation was established in 1990 with a commitment to awarding scholarships to individuals interested in pursuing a career in insurance. Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded nearly $400,000 in scholarships. This year’s Westran Memorial Golf Outing is set for Friday, August 7, 2009, at Hawk Hollow Golf Course in Bath. MAIA Now Offers Swiss Re Commercial Umbrella
This commercial umbrella product, underwritten by Westport Insurance Corporation, a member of the Swiss Re Group, is available exclusively to IIABA/MAIA members. Designed with the independent agent in mind, it utilizes the current ISO umbrella policy form/endorsements as well as various Swiss Re specific endorsements. This policy offers broad coverage that can be written over primary casualty lines, including E&O, with limits up to $10 million.
