She is the author of Messy Joy: How Joy Can Begin Before Your Difficulties End, a practical guide to finding joy even during challenging seasons of life.
In her session, The Power of a Good Question: Connection and Joy, Robin explores how meaningful connection can become a powerful source of joy, even in high-pressure environments. Through engaging stories and interactive moments, she will share how asking the right questions and listening with compassion can break down barriers, foster trust, and strengthen relationships in both personal and professional settings.

An ICF-certified life coach, Robin brings a diverse professional background that includes work as a registered dietitian, youth pastor, and senior life-enrichment director. Her work has been featured in TIME Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, and Psychology Today, and she currently serves as president-elect of the National Speakers Association of Michigan.

Susan Combs, PCC is a professional coach and trainer with over 25 years of experience helping leaders, entrepreneurs, and teams create stronger personal and professional outcomes. She specializes in leadership development, coaching skills, DiSC workstyle assessments, and mentor program design.
Susan has managed the corporate mentor program for Technical Sales Associates at Parker Hannifin for 18 years and is co-author of The Mentor Roadmap workbooks. She has also supported mentor initiatives for Michigan State University, Lifeways, and GreenStone Farm Credit Services.
Her work spans engineering, financial services, healthcare, insurance, automotive, nonprofits, and government organizations. Susan holds the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential from the International Coach Federation and is a founding member and past president of the Michigan ICF chapter. She also co-facilitates the Leadership Lansing program, helping develop emerging leaders across the Lansing region.
